Sidi Moro Sanneh

Sidi Moro Sanneh (born 1947 in Bathurst (now Banjul)[1]) is a Gambian economist, political figure and diplomat.

Sanneh studied and worked in the United States, particularly in urban development. He joined the Gambian civil service in 1977. He later became an advisor to the United Nations and worked as a director at the African Development Bank from 1992 until 2002. He became foreign minister of The Gambia on 14 October 2004 and served in that position until 24 March 2005 when he moved to the position of minister of industry, trade and employment during a cabinet reshuffle. He was then in November 2005 made Ambassador of Gambia to Senegal up until 2006. In January 2008, Sanneh was made program Director at Dyncorp International in Falls Church Virginia.
